DaSK - Dansk Svæveflyvehistorisk Klub

DaSK - briefly

DaSK was established in 1988 with the purpose of securing the proper preservation, restauration and maintenance of historical Danish glider assets originating all the way from the early beginning of gliding in the 1920s to the glass fiber age of the 1960s.

For many years the club used different workshops and had no airfield. Despite these challenging circumstances several planes were restored. The DaSK Foundation was then established to raise funds towards a hangar at Gliding Center Arnborg, the Danish national gliding center south of Herning. The fund raising was successful and in 2014 DaSK inaugurated a brand new 1100 square meter hangar. All assets and activities were now gathered in one place: hangar, storage of the planes, workshop, club room, and much more. Right outside the hangar doors there is a 1300-meter airfield. This was a quantum leap for the thriving and development of the club.
On this website you can find a lot of information about the club and our future activities - in Danish.

DaSK is a member of the Danish Gliding Federation ( DSvU).
